Real Time Monitoring of Graphene Growth

In situ real time monitoring of few layers of graphene

OET together with of AUTh (LTFN lab) have shown for the first time the growth differentiation between mono- and multilayers graphene using Horiba’s UVISEL spectrometer for in situ measurements of CVD graphene production to a customized Black Magic reactor from Aixtron installed at the LTFN of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Moreover within Gladiator Project, Ultra-violet sensitive photodiodes with graphene electrode  have been successfully tested as fire sensors (UV smoke detection system) by OET, which also designed and fabricated the electronic circuit board to support their operation, as can be seen in the video below:
