The 100% autonomous energy greenhouse of the Greek company Organic Electronic Technologies (OET) in Thermi delivered its first crop. The first harvest of the “Hope” variety, demonstrates in practice the increase in production achieved in the energy autonomous greenhouse and the advanced methods applied worldwide.

OET’s installed Organic Photovoltaics on the greenhouse, provide the RES with solar energy while at the same time  protecting the crops from harmful UV radiation, helping them achieve a higher growth rate.

The greenhouse operates within the European program Agrores, is supported at a rate of 100% by RES and is applied in an installation of 200 sq.m. in Thermi provided by the Municipality.
